Christmas and New Year's Eve in Denmark

On 23/12/2010 we have

presented to us around the holidays in peace with my parents in a holiday home in Denmark to spend.

But even the journey was more difficult than expected. It was an adventure. Ca. 800m from our apartment, we got stuck in a snowdrift. It has bad storm and snow and the slightly deeper dirt road to the holiday complex was completely blown over. The unexploded device had to do full on the main road and all hands had not yet come to the dirt road. Since we were traveling with a big car, we turned to the wheel and were quite confident to penetrate the snow mountain or go to. But it was not so ... we were stuck. It went back, either before or. What now?

The final settlement was not far away, so the men went to the jackets and ran off the last house. By the third house they were lucky and a very friendly farmer could rush us with a heavy vehicle to help. With tractor and snow sliding plate it went off. He first pushed open the way to us and then took us to the tow rope. But we were stuck deep that the rope broke. Also brought back to the farm and shovels and a new rope. Then George shoveled the rear wheels and thus pull out it worked well with the. What

here now may not be as dramatic sounds were, for us, very dramatic minutes and yes, we had fear. It was dark, there was a storm was really very strong and cold. George had not even ne hat or gloves on .... all was well stowed in the trunk.

The tractor is then brought here before us and has pushed the free-way to the cottage. We were all very relieved and happy to be finally arrived. Thanks to the very helpful peasants!

Here's a video, rausgefilmt from the car. Ahead of us the snow-drift, which we reached to the bonnet high. The car was a Hyundai Santa Fe, not necessarily very flat on the road ;-)!

Furthermore, we had a wonderful day, wonderful weather, beautiful in frozen Baltic Sea, read a lot of time for us to walk, and play.

what is already great, Bonn has since invented!

As brave fees and tax payers, we take over and our contribution in the form of electricity, water, street cleaning, garbage disposal, sewage disposal costs and, of course, property taxes and various tax ... to preserve the common good at.
The money we in good hands - or believe it is in good hands to know ..
shows now, however - and not just since yesterday - that it a Clock there that reminds us as obedient citizens, some time because something goes wrong.
Our city leaders now have a huge problem. Not only that! In any
Bonn citizens are a debt load of - right now - about 4.500 €.

I had in the last days (email) correspondence with an old friend - Paul Thelen , many of you know him, but who for many years no longer in the village and lives Today, his place of work in Berlin.
