Cleves (German: Kleve) is a town in the district of Kleve in the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, ten kilometers south of the river Rhine, and not far from the Dutch border at Nijmegen and Den Heerenberg. Also located near Kleve in German town of Emmerich and forest Reichswald.
